Best ways to append Emails to appsheet

Hello Dear Insiders,

I’m Using Appsheet for different kinds of Projects Management, with many email communications…(using Outlook mostly)

Coming from “Smartsheet” and “Monday” work management platforms, I quite like their functionnality regarding the email tracking :

  • Smartsheet : Outlook Plugin, where you can easily search for a dedicated row in your databases, and then append the selected email to that row. The “.msg” file is saved with other files in the row (could have many file attached. no need to create many “file” column..

  • Monday” : Each “Rows” get a dedicated “email address” (example : company_17312662_7d2bdebad432fc89c__73067479@euc1.mx.monday.com), which when used as recipient in email sending (cc, cci…) does update dedicated “conversation column” nside Monday database …

Would it be possible to achieve some kind of similar Workflow and functionnality trough Appsheet and/or Gmail ?

I can easily “move” an email from Outlook, to a “File” column in an appsheet “Form”(desktop), this does archive the email in “.msg” format, ready to be downloaded/viewed …

But as I can only have 1 file per column, I would need many of these column and this is far from ideal for design…

Another idea is with a “Related” Emails table, with a “Ref” column to my dedicated project and some other columns like “Mail Body”, “Date/time”, “sender”…etc. But this appear cumbersome to me, with a lot of “Copy/pasting”…

Any Ideas on what would be the Best/simplest approach to this “Emails Backup” functionnality ?
