Phishing Scam using AppSheet email

An interesting story popped up on my news feed, thought I would post about it. Nothing to worry about, just some scammers using the noReply@AppSheet.com email to try and scare people about closing their Meta/Facebook account. (Yeah… not even the same company, stupid mistake on the scammers part.)

Damn scammers got Google freaking out so hard they banned MY account.

I have my entire stack built inside AppSheet:

• Public app to entice people in
  • Emails go out when they sign up with payment links
• Private app to handle all the real account management
  • Emails go out when payments received
  • Daily onboarding
  • Meeting reminders/summaries
  • A few misc others

Apparently this is enough to trigger the spam ban.
